All visa stamping is now done outside US. As long as you dont travel outside of USA, you can stay legally till the date mentioned on your I-94 attached on I797. But, if your H1 extension is subjected to your visa interview in Islamabad, you have to go to interview.
I dont know what DWI is, but whatever it is, do not hide it on your visa application. AFAIK, traffic violations are not criminal offences, but I might be wrong.
You better have criminal record strighten out with DHS ASAP, one wrong info and it will become a huge problem.

This sustain act is total BS. They want to increase H1-B numbers without reforming the EB system. They do not want to increase EB numbers. They do not want to do away with country quotas. They don't have country quotas in H1-B. This just creates more and more backlogs for everyone. I HOPE THIS BILL DOESN'T PASS. The companies and lawmakers just want cheap labor without "paying" for it. Just a bunch of self-serving bigots !
I disagree with u, i think this bill should pass which lets the EB pipeline inflates so much that it explodes.

It's always better to change the name in the passport (contact Passport office/Indian Embessy near by you) reflecting correctly when you have time now Otherwise it's really create problems in future either in GC or traveling to other countries etc.
Please look for procedure on Indian Embessy web site (if you are in USA) otherwise passport website in india.

Oh one more thing I want to add - I do not know of a anyone who have kept the same title and the same job description for more than 5 years(other than doctors :)), have you guys heard of any? This is more scary as you wait for 7 years and then get laid off and then start from scratch again. At least, with family based, you will get GC after 10-11 years.

Dual exposure is the obvious and best solution to extremes in lighting but it necessitates setting up a tripod etc.
However, quite often one's best landscapes are an opportunity that presents itself on the spur of the moment. Frequently in these cases the lighting may not fit comfortably into the dynamic range and/or - dare I say it - one's exposure may also be hasty and less than optimum. Dual conversion of a single RAW file is is a great help in this regard. Whilst never quite as good as two separate exposures, I get the impression that the raw converter can extract a remarkable amount of hidden information from a file where the range is not too extreme.
In analogue terms this would be equivalent to being able to develop a single negative image twice with different dilutions temperatures etc (that would be a neat trick). The resulting image may not be technically perfect but may work perfectly in terms of aesthetics.

Absolutely right, how otherwise do you explain that they issued card production for people with PD's in 2004, (Dates not current in June) on July 2nd and in an hour and then said the visas are unavailable.

They just saved themselves by retracting the VB of JULY, or else they would have faced lawsuits, and investigation which would have shown all irregularities and fraud.
If they can't follow FIFO in issuing receipt notices, which is the first and most basic step, then we should not expect them to follow FIFO for the rest of the steps.

Can we file taxes seperately on married status?
I mean, my CPA did estimates seperately and we found substantial difference...

I don't think the letter was of any help, it said my case is still pending, and as I mentioned above DMV told me they already knew that, they had access to USCIS database.

tell your friend to put 33% less effort on the project work. take 1.5 days in a week off for searching for other jobs and talk to a lawyer, DOL. with the offer letter he can be sued by a gain-share arrangement with some lawyer - these lawyers charge no upfront fees but the lawyer takes x% of the damages awarded... better a blood sucking lawyer make the money than a blood sucking employer.

Supposedly means 'hypothetical'. You did not 'supposedly' make them, you actually did. Sentences do start with capital letters and you need commas when appropriate.

I had sent an e-mail to my attorney...below is his reply...looks like i will get my renewed EAD before current EAD expires.
USCIS typically issues new EADs within 90 days. If they don't, you may make an Infopass appointment to appear in-person at a local office to request that they process an interim EAD. The local office will not issue an EAD. Rather, they will contact the Service Center which will typically issue the EAD within two weeks.
I have applied EAD/AP renewals last April 22nd and got the receipts in 2weeks and today got CRIS email "Card Production Ordered" from TSC..so may be in 30days it should be on hand...Our's also expires in August...
It sounds like they are processing fast..dont panic keep hope!! Give it some time..

The receipt notice may take 2 - 4 days to be generated some times and some times it has taken nearly 3 months(last july VB Fiasco). I think if you labour has expired you wouldn't have got the receipt notice, but not sure.

This not correct. if you are on H visa in USA, you can definitely apply for Canadian Landed Immigration. In order to maintain your immigration in Canada, you have to stay atleast 2 years in Canada in a 5 year period.
Moreover, in order to fulfill your citizenship requirement, you have to be physically present in Canada for atleast 3 years.
I hope this helps.

from Jul 30. Hope NSC will process the NameCheckPending Cases Fast
and let the processing dates move forward.. :)
Also, even if the visa numbers advance, I have to cross the 485 processing
date first... is that right?
Or, what happens if my 485 is not yet processed but the bulletin makes
my date as current? :confused:
